By Lisa McCuiston

SmartGig Ohio 2016 is an event that creates a technical platform with the intent purpose of turning ideas into services to improve the quality of life for Ohioans. Multiple civic leaders including state, city, municipal, and regional government from various sectors, such as education, housing, and transportation, will benefit from this information exchange through the collaborative effort of SmartGIG Cities.

During 2016, SmartGig Cities is hosting five conferences in the U.S. and Columbus, Ohio, is the next destination, scheduled for October 11 and 12 at The Ohio State University’s Fawcett Center.

Connect Ohio is proud to be a supporting organization for this year’s SmartGig Ohio event. Since 2008, Connect Ohio has been working to ensure that all can experience the benefits of broadband. Connect Ohio, along with SmartGig Cities, invites you to be a part and demonstrate innovative applications and services for the Smart + Connected City. Come and meet your peers and engage and focus on civic groundwork decisions for the twenty-first century.
