Ohio Broadband Landscape 2013

  Ohio’s Broadband Landscape 2013     In Connect Ohio’s efforts to increase Internet access, adoption, and use, our research and efforts have been developed into a report on Ohio’s Broadband Landscape for 2013. Approximately 6.3 million adults in Ohio subscribe to home broadband service. This mean 71% of Ohio adults have a home broadband subscription, an increase of five percentage points from 2011 and above the national average of 66%. National Broadband Map, Two-Year Anniversary

  February 17, 2013, marked the two-year anniversary of the National Broadband Map (NBM), a tool to search, analyze, and map broadband availability across the United States. The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) created and maintains the NBM, populating it with broadband datasets collected and submitted by states and territories for the State Broadband Initiative (SBI) grant program.
